Installing SmartLink Widgets

SmartLink links appear automatically for dozens of great sites. Whether you link to a book on Amazon, an album on Last.fm or a stock on Yahoo! finance, SmartLinks will enhance your reader's experience. All you have to do is a 1-time install of a script and the supported links on your blog become SmartLinks!

Note that blogs hosted on wordpress.com are unable to support widgets and SmartLinks.

SmartLink Widgets for Wordpress

To install SmartLink Widgets on Wordpress you need to copy and paste the widget code into the Wordpress template for your site's sidebar. To do that follow these easy steps:

• Login to your Wordpress dashboard
• Select the Presentation tab and then the Theme Editor tab

• Select Sidebar from the list of links on the right

• Copy the javascript from above and paste it into the sidebar template where you'd like it to appear.
• Select the Update File button that's below the text box in the bottom right-hand corner
